∙ 10y agoMintonette is the first name of the volleyball...afterwards a man noticed the game and called it volleyball (originally spelled as Volley ball)...
He is Mr. Alfred Halstead who was preffered to changed mintonette into volley ball. Then after a years, it becomes one word called as VOLLEYBALL
Why is it so important to get noticed? If you love them, and truly care about them, then screw getting noticed. Supporting them is the best and ONLY way to get noticed. Screw Twitter. Simple but effective.... now get out of my kitchen!
Alfred Halstead, a newspaper reporter, noticed the volleying nature of the game and called it "volley ball." It was originally known as "mintonette." Volley ball was eventually shortened to volleyball. because the object of the sport is to volley the ball over the net Volleyball got its name from when you volley the ball and that the shape of the ball is a sphere.
Getting your singing publicity can be a bit tricky, but there might be a way to get noticed. If there is a recording studio near you, try getting some studio time, that might just be the way to do it. Or, try trying out for a talent competition or something that way.

They were 1 or 2 years old when they really started getting noticed.

I think that they do this to protect their knees from impact with the volleyball court. This could cause an injury to the knees, or at least bruise them up. In the volleyball game there is very much diving for the ball, kneeling to save the ball("knee save") and even if you know how to dive correctly, you are at great risk of hurting your knees. Additionally, women/girls don't want to have any bruise/ scrape on their knees, because they want to look beautifull and probably nobody thinks that these scrapes, bruises or floor burns are something pretty, interesting or sexy! I noticed, that the difference between women and men in wearing knee pads in volleyball is very great( of course more ladies wear knee pads than men).
It is not mandatory, but it definitely increases your chances of getting noticed by scouts.
