Well, usually depends on what kind of league they play in. Such as MLS, if they are really good and they are bought from a international team or a more popular team, such as David Beckham, he gets paid about 250 million dollars. So it just really depends on who they are or what league their in.

It varies wildly depending on the league, team, player's position and player's skill. Some players start with amateur contracts (only club expenses paid - gear, transportation, etc) and in other cases, 14 year olds get paid millions to go to a youth school.

Usually, for starting players it is about 45,000 - 60,000 a year. Each year the salary will probably increase over time.

Soccer players who play for major teams like Real Madrid or Manchester United can get from either 2 million dollars a year to 16 million dollars a year. Either way, they make a lot of money.
