either they can't throw, they can't Dodge, they can't catch, or they are so competitive that they immediately HATE dodgeball as soon as they get out. i know some people like that.
Dodgeball was banned based on the sole basis of the game. Object of the game (as seen by all the whiney PC people) is to "hurt" the other team. Sad i know but that's how it happened. I know I've been in the game for 10 years.
(WRONG) It has nothing to do with "whining." Educating yourself on this issue will answer your question.
1) Dodgeball encourages violence and aggresive behavior
2) Dodgeball discourages less athletic students from enjoying physical education because of the fact that it excludes those who are hit (hence overweight and less athletic students who need exercise most tend to sit out on the sidelines when they are out).
3) It is phsycologically destructive, pinning groups of students against each other, targeting each other and trying to hit one another as hard as they can.
There are so many better alternatives for INCLUSIVE FUN physical exercise. Dodgball is fine for you and me, but its a different story when you incorperate students into the scenario.
There is a lot of controversy surrounding dodgeball in recent years because of the perception that it promotes bullying. Some have argued that bullies see the game as an opportunity to throw a ball hard and try to hurt and embarass non-athletic kids. In New York and New Jersey, schools have eliminated dodgeball completely. Other schools just use a foam ball instead and do not allow players to throw the ball above the shoulders.
well sometimes its good for school to have it. It helps kids let out there feelings and its fun but teachers have to keep watch just incase you have some bad kids in that class. so if a school doesn't have very good teachers that watch then it probably should be played as offen but its should still be allowed.

No. You may not bring any paintball equipment to anywhere besides paintball facilities, and your own property, especially schools.
"Dodge ball".
I'm sure that's a matter of opinion...
Super Dodge Ball happened in 1987.
a dodge ball cost at least $5 to $10
If a soft spongy kind of ball is used, it is a fun game. If the ball used hurts when it hits someone, get e different ball.
Super Dodge Ball was created in 1987-11.
