Well if there was ANY chance that Lloyd Carr would want to come back next year Michigan should fire him now. But as an alum the feeling is a retirement at the end of this year. Now after he retires the whole staff should be fired and a new regime should take over because the current one is squandoring our national respect. As a University, we have been one of the most progressive and respected institutions... now our sports programs including football and Basketball are not reflecting this. We are not "the leaders and best" we were in the past because we are allowing the status quo to prevail. We need to enter the modern age of offense and defense. The only way to do that is to move on from the Bo ERA and learn how to play and defend modern offenses like the spread.
