In addition to Sam Spence and British composers from the KPM LABEL , NFL films also used music from perhaps the oldest production music house , MUSIC DEWOLFE which started in 1927 . Some of the noteworthy composers included Jack Trombey , Keith Papworth , Simon Park and Paul Lewis . In the late 70's and through the 80's they also used music from British library Bruton Music which boasted many of the composers already familiar with KPM listeners , including Alan Hawkshaw and Johnny Hawksworth . Some selections from the AMPHONIC label were used too as that label was founded by Syd Dale and NFL FILMS seemed to like Dale's style .
