The Reading Buccaneers Drum & Bugle Corps from Reading, PA USA has won the DCA World Championship title six (6) consecutive times. Their streak started in the summer of 2005 and is continuing with a win at the 2010 World Championships in Rochester, NY.
In addition to the consecutive titles, the Buccaneers have won every contest they have entered since the beginning of the 2005 season, amassing 57 consecutive wins in DCA competition for six (6) undefeated seasons. The Bucs have the record for the highest score ever in DCA history with a 99.025 at the 2009 World Championships and ten (10) total World Championship titles including the first ever DCA championship in 1965 then in 1968, 1979 and 1980.
The NCAA record is 31 consecutive national championships, 1980 to 2010, in Men's Swimming & Diving, Division III, by Kenyon College (Gambier, Ohio). This was the longest streak in any division in any sport in NCAA history.
