In the regular season, no. In the preseason, yes. Goaltender Manon Rheaume played one game in each of the 1992 and 1993 preseasons for the Tampa Bay Lightning. She was the goaltender for the women's Canadian national team that won world championships in 1992 and 1994 and the silver medal at the 1998 Olympics.

No, but a woman was drafted by an NBA team. Lusia "Lucy" Harris, a three time All-American at Delta State University, was drafted by the New Orleans (later Utah) Jazz in 1977. She was the first woman inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and was in the first class inducted into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame.
