Michigan is well set up to be a national title continder this year, even without Edwards. The Big Ten will probably be the best conference this year in my opinion and the only things stopping Michigan from a trip to the Rose Bowl are playing AT Iowa and against Ohio state. The good thing is, Michigan plays both Notre Dame and Ohio State at home. Don't exclude Michigan State either unless Michigan really improved their vonerability against running quarterbacks. Here is a list of Michigan's schedule for 2006: (teams that are bold are at Michigan) NORTHERN ILLINOIS NOTRE DAME EASTERN MICHIGAN at Wisconsin at Michigan State MINNESOTA PENN STATE at Iowa at Northwestern INDIANA OHIO STATE I think Michigan will go 10-1 losing only to Iowa. The Big Ten could easily end up in a 3-way tie between Michigan, Iowa, and Ohio state. (Iowa plays Ohio State at Ohio State)
According to Pro Football Reference: 1) University of Miami - 43 2) University of Michigan - 40 3) Ohio State University, Louisiana State University - 35 5) Florida State University, University of Tennessee - 33
