He passed away on December 26, 2006 from burns suffered in a house fire in Sugar Land, Texas. Brown was owner of the house and neighbors said it had been vacant for several months. Investigators considered the fire to be of a suspicious origin but did not come up with a specific reason for it's start. Brown never recovered to be interviewed by authorities.
