Softball is probably harder. Despite the name, a softball is harder than a Baseball, and heavier (therefore harder to hit very far). Because of this, the batter must run to the base quicker as the ball will be closer. Plus, in fastpitch softball, the pitches can be as fast (or faster)than baseball pitches.

As we used to say, softball is for everyone, but fast-pitch is for athletes. It's true that the ball is smaller and harder in baseball, but the distance from the mound to home plate is much shorter in softball. And because top pitchers can throw at better than 70mph in softball, that can be very intimidating. The field is smaller in softball, so it's harder to hit a home run in baseball, but the smaller softball field tends to make the game much quicker and requires very fast reflexes. Softball pitchers can vary their pitches with the same accuracy and variety as baseball pitchers.

Baseball and softball are both excellent games requiring similar skills. It all depends on which game you like and which game your more comfortable with.

I think that if you really think about it either could be harder and either could be easier because if you already play one of the sports you know how to play. but if your new than softball may be easier because of the size of the ball.

It really depends on the ball size I mean you play with a softer ball in softball and it is much bigger compared to a normal size baseball so you have more of a chance of hitting it.

although soccer is extremely hard and you have to do caulcuation on where the ball is going and how hard it’s coming at you, you have to do that to softball too and yoy also have to judge when to swing and how fast to do it, also the defense has to be aware on how fast the ball is approaching and where to throw it to, the pitcher also has to throw a specific speed and at a specific spot. there is much more action and danger in softball though there is also more protective gear. you can always think what you want and your opinion is always correct that’s why this is absolutely right to me cause it’s my opinion.

soccer is harder the only protection you have in soccer is on your shins everything else is free and you can get hurt. Unlike ppl who play soft ball you can step back away from a ball if you have a feeling it can hurt you. soccer yes you run around and chase a ball but it is not like you dont have to do profesional skills and create new skills to succeed on to make a goal or pass it to a player. Softball and soccer can be similar in way, as when u hit the ball u have to position yourself but in soccer when u make a pass or shoot a goal u have to do the same. You also have more breaks in softball while in soccer it depends on the coach or your performance to take you out or not. many people have yet to play soccer and many people have yet to understand how hard it is. If i get hate for trying to believe what i think so than it just makes everyone else idiots. i may be just a kid but i know a lot about sports.

Softball is harder because when you are up to bat you are only 43 feet away from the pitcher. The pitch is coming at you between 50-70 mph. You have to judge the pitch on whether it’s good or not and while you do that you some how have to hit the ball with the bat that you have to swing at least 50 mph. Yes in soccer the ball is being kicked at you pretty hard but you have more reaction time and you go the way it is kicked to block it. (As a goalie). So if you were to see it going high to the left you would jump high to the left. But in softball you have to judge the pitch, make contact, and have the balm coming at you very hard and fast.
