Football is the official name for soccer. Soccer comes from association football. Only in the USA and Canada do they say soccer.
The global name for football is of course football. The global name for American football is gridiron.
Football is a sport played using the feet and a ball, only football does this.
Both sports have many injuries but the more serious ones happen in gridiron.
if mean Canada and usa soccer is better football is dangerous but what about soccer all the leg injuries
Of course it is!!!!! For sure! Any one who didn'tbelieve that is soo lost. From: Famous soccer player
In both sports you can get seriously injured, most people think soccer is nothing but one of my friends got a concussion during a game playing keeper. I myself have broken my leg and my arm playing soccer. But football is much more dangerous, people have died playing football. In soccer people can die on the field but it's always because of a heart attack or something like that. So i would say football is more dangerous.
no its pretty much the same as football, its just called a different name.
Both games are dangerous if saftey precautions are not taken.

i think soccer is more dangerous and causes a lot more injuries than hockey. soccer doesn't have that much equipment for protection compared to hockey. but for soccer if you had a lot of equipment it would be hard to sprint down the field, kick the ball and do other things involving the sport. hockey needs a lot of equipment because if you happened to fall on the ice the equipment protects you from the ice compared to soccer you would land on grass. hockey can be more life threatening with the fact of the blades on the skates but you'd think it would be rare to be hit with someones blade. same with soccer but your feet are in the air most of the time from running and kicking the ball plus you have to watch out for the cleats in case you run into them.
