PRP for Hair Loss
PRP has shown promise by potentially lengthening and thickening hair shafts. It is a popular treatment to assist in slowing down the effects of genetic hair loss known as Androgenic Alopecia. A small amount of blood is drawn from the patient and placed in a sterile test tube that is spun down in a centrifuge to separate the different components of the blood.
