No he is Christian. He was born in Australia but moved to the US with his family when he was 2 years old. His mother was half Sioux and died when he was very young.

Yes Kyrie Irving is Muslim, he was born Christian and recently converted to Islam. He didn’t partake in a few nba games because of the beginning of Ramadan. Also in his twitter he praises to Allah which is the god of muslims.

“Allah” is the direct arabic translation of God. Allah means The Single Creator of the Universe. :)

Kyrie Irving recently became Muslim. He said that on his Twitter and he praised Allah which means GOD in Arabic

Oh interesting - I didn't hear about that. Thanks for the info!

he’s not Arabic, if he wants To say god he can just say god. translating to Arabic is a specific gesture. The main religion with the language Arabic is Islam because the holy Quran is written in Arabic. yes, maybe he isn’t Muslim, he hasnt been clear about it. Ali though it’s pretty odd for one to use allahs name in a reference. Also there is a picture of him in a praying position in a pregame.

Allah by direct translation is “the God”. The word “ilah” in Arabic is god. There’s only one true creator which is “the Creator” creation can never be “the Creator”. Allah is nor male nor female...
