This would be comparing apples to Oranges since they are on two separate teams in two separate conferences. But Drew Brees did outperform Brady in 2011, and although both exceeded 5000 yards passing, only Brees has done it twice. Both quarterbacks have won Super Bowls as MVPs.

Drew Brees, however, with the help of his Saints team, has had the highest completion percentage of any NFL quarterback ever (71.6% in 2011, beating his own 2009 record). His accuracy, as demonstrated in a Sports Science special, is phenomenal.
