It is a matter of opinion really, but Cristiano Ronaldo is considered one of the top players in the world. Gerrard is the driving force behind Liverpool but hasn't really had as big an impact on the world stage that Ronaldo has.

Ronaldinho was voted to be a better soccer player then Cristiano Ronaldo, based on skill, speed, and ability to stay on his feet. Ronaldinho has really good sportsmanship, and was caught complaining, or fouling players very little. Cristiano Ronaldo is still a really good player, with agility, skills, and looks (even though that has nothing to do with soccer :) ), but does not like to pas the ball alot, and likes to roll on the floor.
