Brett Favre is selfish. Like it or not when you play for a team for 17 years you become inextricably tied to the community and fans of the team you bled, fought and sweated with for so many years. Whatever he might say on the surface, going to the Vikings was a personal vendetta against Ted Thompson and Mike Sherman. He wanted to stick it to them for daring to think he was getting old. By "sticking it to them" he also stuck it to the fans who have loved him and cheered for him like he was part of their family. So yes, he is selfish for thinking of himself over fans who have loved him for so long.
