If a ball is intercepted in the defended endzone (the endzone the defense is trying to , it is considered a touchback and the ball will be brought out the to twenty yard line, just like a kickoff that is fielded in the endzone. If the intercepting player spikes the ball, he might get called for a penalty, but only if he is, in the eyes of the official, celebrating excessively. If the ball is intercepted by the defense in the opponents endzone it would be a touch down.

Yes. If not advanced out of the end zone, ball is placed at the 20. If advanced, whereever it makes it. Note that if the player runs around but does not cross the end zone line it remains a touchback.

According to NFL rules if a player makes an interception in the endzone and is ruled down the team that made the interception gets the ball on there own 20.

No. The play is not automatically dead if there is an interception made in the endzone.

No. The ball is placed at the one yard line. If the original spot was at the 1 yard line or less, it's half the distance to the goal.
