to say "I like softball in spanish" use the word for "I" which is "yo" the verb "to like" which is "gustar" in the "I" form (gusto) and the spanish word for "softball" which would be "softball."

That's right, as far a I know there is no special word for "softball" so you input the English term. It's kind of like "CD" which is pronounced in spanish the same way we speak it in English. So to answer your question in entirety...

"Yo gusto softball." or just plain "Gusto softball"

that's not right because sure if you translated it literally it would be fine but as a native speaker this just sounds like a retard. it would either be

"A mi me gusta el softbol" or "me gusta softbol"
