Well first they vs. the New York Jets (without Tebow!) eariler that day Joe Namsath pooped his pants! The Chiefs won 13-6! Next they had to vs. the Oakland Raiders (beat Oilers to get there) They one that too! Then.... The Super Bowl!!!!!! last year the AFL won it all for the first time. They called that a fluke. some say they didn't eat breakfast! But the Chiefs took a early lead 3-0 then 6-0 then 9-0 then they took a 16-0 lead at the half. at the end of the game the chiefs won 23-7! Len dawson was the MVP!
Chiefs would need to win against Tennessee and Oakland and Steelers would have to lose to Carolina and Cleveland.
Rayford Jenkins, selected by the Chiefs.
