To play indoor (court) volleyball, you need 6 players. There are typically 3 players in the front row (one being a setter) and 3 players in the back row. The game starts with a serve (either underhand or overhand) when the ball reaches the other side of the net, the first player to get it passes it to the setter, who volleys the ball to one of the 3 hitters (which are called power, middle and right side) that player then spikes the ball over the net. Each player can only touch the ball once in a row (not twice). The teams are allowed to touch the ball 3 times before putting it over the net. Some of the rules are:

1. Players cannot lift/throw the ball, or this will be called by the referee

2. Players cannot touch the net when hitting, blocking or setting

3. Players cannot step over the base line when serving (unless there is ont enough space)

4.Players cannot touch the ball two times in a row.

There are two or three games. The first game goes up to 25, and so does the second.. but teams have to win by two points. and the third game only occurs if there is a tie, in which the game goes to 15.

There's no fun in playing it safe. Why not try something a little unhinged?
