A regulation sized soccer goal measures 24 feet wide (7.32
meters) and 8 feet (2.4384 meters) tall. The goals often have a net
behind it to help contain any soccer balls, however this is not
required.
Regulations state that the inner edges of the posts must be 7.32
metres (8 yd) apart, and the lower edge of the crossbar must be
2.44 metres (8 ft) above the ground.
