Well there are many ways to train for Lacrosse but the most important things that you should focus on are stick skills and shooting, speed and agility, and building muscle. Stick skills are vital to every player, so I recommend passing off a wall left and right 50-100 reps a day. Also work on shooting accuracy and power. For speed, stay it shape and go long distance running as well as practice sprinting. Building muscle is necessary in all sports and so all you have to do is go to the gym and work out a couple a nights a week. For more advanced training tips go to www.millonlacrosse.com, and select the "Millon TV" option. I have the videos in one DVD available from www.lacrosse.com and they really helped me improve my game. And if you play defense, that's too bad because that whole thing is about offfense.
always stay low try to keep your visor at your opponents chin, the low man wins. keep you stick out in front the best check would probably be to lift their bottom hand because you can keep you stick there and not have to retract it everytime keep you hanf on their hip so that you can control where they move
