In 1979 Larry Bird was welcomed to the NBA and to the court of the Bonston Celtics as a First round Draft with high hopes.
He maintained these hopes by being now regarded as one of the best shooters or even NBA players ever.
He joined micheal jordan and Magic Johnson in 1992 in the US mens Basketball team, and played for the first team ever to be pit bin the Olympics. and played Absoluetely fantasticly.
Sadly a few weeks later on august 18 at the age of 38 he retired his jersey being number '33' in 1992. and shortly after was put in to the hall of fame in 1998.
