It depends on where they're coaching, what they're coaching and (at least partially) how good they are.

A head coach in a professional sports league (MLBA, NFL, NBA) could easily have a salary measured in millions per year. Coaches at colleges or universities with nationally recognized sports programs can be in the same ballpark.

A high school coach might get a coaching bonus of a few thousand dollars per year (most high school coaches are also teachers; they get a teaching salary for the teaching part, and then a bonus for the extra time coaching requires).
