of course it depends on how good you are, the coach, your position blah blah blah.
but mostly what will happen is you will play either front or back row. if you play backrow, then when the rotation gets to where you now have to play in front of the ten foot line, you sub out with a front row player. three rotations later, when they are about to go to the backrow, you sub again and you play three rotations.
that is how it usually goes, however there are exceptions such as la baro, some outsides play all the way around (six rotations)and then switch with another outside. or your coach might have you play a whole game, then someone who plays the same positions as you plays the second, and then the third game whoever is doing better that day will play.
so basically, it all just depends. it can be unfair and nepotized but that's how most sports go.
There is not set amount of money that a professional girl volleyball player will earn. This depends on age and skill.

It all depends on how many matches they play. If they play so many matches they will earn so much money it depends on how much there sports agent allowed them to average. As of Nov 14 2011, The professional volleyball player's average salary is 69,000.
A player chooses a volleyball club based on how much time they want to spend in the offseason, how much money the can afford to spend on the dues for the club team, and what skills they want to improve during the club season.
