$275,000,000 contract that would have him playing until he is 42 over the course of 10-years with the New York Yankees includes various multimillion dollar incentives for breaking career home run milestones.

So far Rodriguez has received a salary of $27 million in 2008, $32 million in 2009 and 2010.

He will receive $31 million this year, $29 million in 2012, $28 million in 2013, $25 million in 2014, $21 million in 2015 and $20 million in each of the final two years.

baseball vs excellent teachers250 million over 10 years or $25 million a year. what 500 excellent teachers

make a year. the balance is very off.

Yeah and the president only makes $400,000. A. Rod makes 24,600,000 more than the President of the United States. Messed up.

Wrong, the Presidents Salary is 250,000 a year. But once president he will continue to receive it for the rest of his life. It is a lifetime income of $250,000.

Also the $275 million contract that would have him playing until he is 42 over the course of 10-years with the New York Yankees includes various multimillion dollar incentives for breaking career home run milestones.

And yes you are right but is it also right for Teachers that make close to $125,000 a year to strike with a Union that doesn't quit and force innocent students who are trying to get an education to miss school and lose out on their future because a few teachers feel they need a new coffee maker, more vacation time, more sick days, and pay less into their insurance?

Actually the Presidents yearly income IS 400,000.00 a year. As of the term that began on January 20, 2001, the president' salary is $400,000 per year. Congress sets the president's salary, which cannot be increased or decreased during a presidential term.
