April 12, 2016 Not much has changed a few of the same cards are still listed for sale many with 8.5 corners not much interest. If you can get a nice 9 under $1000.00 it is a good buy. still underrated with a serial number.
On July 21st number 68 a bgs 9 was sold. The eBay listing showed it was number 67. All 9 subgrades with 9.5 edges many of these bgs 9's have an 8.5 subgrade.
Today April 4 2014 number 86 not previously reported sold for $395.00 the bgs 9 card had a 9.5 centering grade 9 corners and edges and 8.5 surface grade.
March 4th, 2014 a PSA 9 card number 55 is being offered for sale. This card number is also not on our initial list. Sold $431.00
Today June 2, 2013 A new number (a raw card) number 28 became available. Also today GAI 1st graded 10 #94/100 is listed for $25,000 this card is one of the finest known.
March 3rd 2013 Card 65/100 sold for $1800.00 and card 19/100 sold for $1100.00 both of these cards were ungraded nm/mint or better.
Today August 9th 2012 A PSA 10 Ultra platinum became available #34/100 starting bid is 1895.00 This card sold for $920.00 Last I looked only 4 PSA 10's existed number 15 and 34 and two unnumbered reverse cards.
The 2004 Ultra card with the hummer number 171 sold for 80 dollars in a psa 10 holder. raw is about 1.50.
The 2003/04 Ultra cards remember each card has Lucky 13 on it.
Gold Ultra Medallion sold for 286.00 in a psa 10 holder
The Fleer Ultra numbered to 500 has sold for over 600.00 in high grade. A customer in a major card shop said he was offered 1000.00 in store credit for his card just pulled from a pack.
A BGS 9.5 Ultra Platinum numbered to 100 without the serial number is being offered today for 6000.00 July 28,2010 a raw card number 70 listed as NM/Mint sold for 3800.00 setting a huge milestone for this card.... so few are numbered probably due to Fleer's bankruptcy. remember we only know of 1, 3, (4 is hand numbered as is 45) A BGS 9 4/100 factory numbered just became available(two new numbers became available) 5,7,10,13,14,15,16,19 22, 23,25,28,47,52,54,55,64, 65, 67,68,70, 76, 79,83,86, 91, 92, 94 if you own any other numbers please add to this post. It is interesting to note that Beckett BGS is putting "missing serial number" on the new holders. This leads me to believe that the majority of the cards are missing the serial number.
The Ultra Platinum BGS 10 is missing the serial number as is a PSA 10. The GAI first graded 10 is number 94 The known PSA 10's are number 15 and 34 are the only 10's PSA pop is 4 PSA 10's 2 9's 2 8's. The finest known factory numbered BGS 9.5 card so far is number 5 all 9.5's with a 10 surface grade. During a listing on August 7th 2011 an ebayer came forward that he owned two factory numbered bgs 9.5 ultra platinum cards. That brings the factory numbered total to four with one hand numbered. He did not disclose his numbers or subgrades. I will assume that his cards are finer than number 52
Today I noticed a raw card number 65 is listed on ebay (October 15, 2011) this card had not been previously reported. number 76 is available raw on ebay today January 15, 2012. On March 13th number 19 sold. Number 23 came back up for sale (raw) sold for over $500.00 but ebay removed the item for some reason. Number 19 also sold recently in March 13, 2012. Number 14 BGS 9 sold for 380.00 on May 23, 2012. A psa 6 number 47 sold for $25.00 on April 24th 2012 On June 30, 2012 this card number was cracked out (47) was relisted and on July 3rd sold for 284.99. On July 4th number 64 became available for sale. LeBron James won his first NBA championship on June 21, 2012 Number 10 sold (raw) on July 17, 2012 for 530.00 (this was another previously unreported number)
