JV Wildcat Cheerleader
yes, I do. Even though it is a small school and only about 14 girls tryout for it, you still have to. Our Squad is only 8, at least for football cheerleading. Our basket ball is 3 right now and westling is 6 with 2 alternates.
The rules of cheerleading are under the rule of the WIAA, even though cheerleading technically isn't a sport.
A very famous cheerleading squad, even though they are more of a dance team, are the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders.
OF COURSE!!! haha I go there and just for future reference its canyon lake middle school even though its in canyon hills!!! common mistake. they should call it canyon hills middle school though because its in canyon hills but anyways its cool! =) hahaha.
Most middle schools have lockers because you switch classes. But some may not though.
Rolling Hills Middle school in Watsonville,Ca is a very good school with students with very good GPA's. They do need improvement though in outlining something.
OMIGAWW! hes my uncle!! all i know though is that he went to SDSU and graduated, i think for middle school he went do Dana middle school in Point Loma. :)
It doesn't matter as long as there are more than like 4 or 5 it depends on what middle school you are going to though because different middle schools have different standards.
The main argument for why cheerleading is not considered a sport has nothing to do with athletic ability and more to do with the fact that cheerleading's scoresheet is too objective and that for schools it does not satisfy Title IX requirements
It is not the memorization of chants, cheers and dances that make cheer leading a sport. It is the competetive aspect of cheerleading that makes it a sport. The definition of a sport is: an activity with rules or customs engaged in competitively. Cheerleading involves: jumping, cheering, dancing, stunts and tosses (elements of lifting or throwing athletes into the air) and, tumbling (gymnastics). There are three different types of cheerleading: School (Middle, High, and College), Association (Pop Warner), and All-Star or competitive. Each has their own governing body. National Cheerleading Association (NCA) for High School. The United States All-Star Federation (USASF) and the International All-Star Federation (IASF) for All-Star cheerleaders. Cheerleading has come a long way since its beginning, and it is no longer girls-with-pom-poms shouting GO TEAM GO! With the addition of All-Star cheerleading and advanced stunting and tumbling elements, as well as long hours spent each week at practice and conditioning, cheerleaders have become extreme athletes pushing their bodies to limits that most people only imagine. Obviously these organizations consider cheerleading a sport, as well as the athletes who participate in it. The NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) has yet to recognize cheerleading as a sport even though it accounts for 66.7 of all female catastrophic sports injuries. ESPN recognizes cheerleading as a sport and broadcasts the NCA High School Nationals, as well as the USASF Cheerleading Worlds for All-Star cheerleaders. During the 2009 Worlds USASF launched it's Be an All-Star campaign promoting All-Star cheerleading and the sport as a whole. Plans have been made for cheerleading to be featured in the 2012 Summer Olympic Games. For these athletes, this is their dream, their goal, what they strive for, what they live for. Cheerleading is their sport.
middle schools are bigger than elementary and you tend to bump into people as you walk in the long hallways. middle schools contain more people then elementary. i go to middle school and i find it to be very cool. though in middle school you might get tired cuz you get alot of homework but other that that is cool and you feel free to do things
There is much debate over whether cheerleading is a sport. In terms of dictionary definition "an athletic activity requiring skill or physical prowess and often of a competitive nature" cheerleading is defined as a sport. Cheerleading involves: jumping, cheering, dancing, stunts and tosses (elements of lifting or throwing athletes into the air) and, tumbling(gymnastics). There are three different types of cheerleading: School( Middle, High, and College), Association(Pop Warner), and All-Star or competitive. Each has their own governing body. Plans have been made for cheerleading to be featured in the 2012 Summer Olympic Games. The other side of the argument is that because cheerleading (like gymnastics and diving) contains judges, and therefor is not a sport. A touchdown is a touchdown, but two judges could score the same routine differently, makeing it open to human bias and error
