The Sports Business Journal states that before the new collective bargaining agreement goes into effect, the rookie minimum salary is $230,000. (IF he makes the team.) The journal also states that the average 7th round signing bonus was $37,000

Generally speaking when looking at the contributions a 7th round pick makes to the team success....they are grossly overpaid......lol.

Most get cut after training camp. It is rare to see a 7th round pick see any superstar status or success, and many end up being forgotten, so it is hard to average out how much they make.
