Its not that they hate baseball or football players. Its that lacrosse players feel they and their sport get no respect. Or that all lacrosse players are rich little white boys.
Theymake an average of 14,000 a year
A pro lacrosse player in the National Lacrosse League averages $14,000 US per year. Some may earn more due to star status or endorsements, but most players hold down "day" jobs and play pro lacrosse for the love of the game. No one gets rich playing lacrosse...yet.about now 1.1 million a year,
Not in college. In the pros they don't make much money and most have second jobs. Some players like Paul Rabil and Kyle Harrison make money off of endorsements from lacrosse companies like Maverik and STX.

No, lacrosse is not the same thing as field hockey. In field hockey you use a stick with a curved base on the ground and hit it to your team mate, or you can dribble it up the field. The goal in field hockey is much bigger than a lacrosse goal. In lacrosse you throw and catch a ball using a stick with a net and you can run with the ball in you stick. Lacrosse is a much faster paced game too. In lacrosse you wear eye protection and a mouth guard, in field hockey you wear shin guards and a mouth guard. Both sports are really fun.
I found some news articles that give a salary of less then $18,000 Major League Lacrosse (MLL). In the other pro Lacrosse league National Lacrosse League (NLL) the top salary is not more then $25,000.
no normal lax balls are much harder
lacrosse or "lax" for short was played hundreds of years ago by native Americans. lacrosse is thought of to be the first American sport. of course the game is much different now then it was back then. the native amerians played as a form of fighting, to settle disputes, or competition between two tribes. there were hundreds of "players" on the "field" at one time, and the "ball" was a rock of animal hide in some form.
In lacrosse you dont need much of stick skill, but mostly endurance and strength.
It is worth as much as the two amazing hockey players Louis and lorado/ about $1,000,000,000,000,000,000
