Maximum per team allowed on the pitch is 15 players per side. However, if players are red or yellow carded they must enure that key specialist positions are correctly covered i.e. the front row. If this is not the case and the officials feel that to many players are side lined they may abandon the game.

The same basic rules apply to 10's and 7s games.
