If you want to be/look more advanced, you can do a one man stunt, involving 2 people, or you can do other stunts that have 4 people. A flyer, 2 bases, and a backspot. By taking a front spot away, it is harder but adds difficulty points and gives you extra people to add for another stunt, or tumbling, etc.
You and your friends should use an actual cheerleading mix, but if you can't get ahold of one, you can always try fast songs
split stunts and twist up are really basic yet creative. as lone as the stunt group knows what they are doing the stunt should go well
Back hand spring?
Two bases, a backspot, a frontspot, and a flyer. So, 5 in all.
The person who is in the air, on top of the pyramid, at the top of the stunt, the one people are holding up.
A thigh stand
yes u can do a stunt with only 3 people... but make sure that you have spotters... you need a flyer and then 2 bases... but the bases have to be stong or the flyer has to be light and carry her own weight...
The cheerleading stunt for which one person is held at the waiste is called the prep.
To be honest, there is no such thing as a "safe" cheerleading stunt. Whenever you pick/propel someone into the air there is a possibility of something going wrong and people getting hurt. Using mats decreases the risk of serious injury. The lower the stunt is to the ground, the safer it it
It's a lot of fun! I'm a flyer and a base and both can be really fun! It depends on your stunt group and if you just like to base or not!
In gymnastics there really isn't any stunts. That's more of a Cheerleading thing. You may mean having a coach spot you when you say "stunt" and in that case there are alot of stunts in gymnastics!
To get a job in cheerleading, you can try out for the cheerleading team of a professional football team (such as the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders), stunt double for characters in cheerleading movies (have you ever seen Bring It On?), or coach/assistant coach a cheerleading team near you.
