The officials signals are used to signal when to begin a match, when to serve, when the play is over, who earned the serve and point, how the play was won or lost and when the game and match are over. A good source of referree signals is USA Volleyball's VolleyballRefTraining.com website which includes loads of great resources for rules, regulations and how the game is officiated in the US.
