In the current NHL there are 30 teams divided into 2 conferences which are also divided into 3 divisions per conference.

The teams are

Eastern Conference:

Atlantic division: Philadelphia Flyers, New York Islanders, New York Rangers, New Jersey Devils, Pittsburgh Penguins.

Northeast Division: Boston Bruins, Montreal Canadiens, Buffalo Sabres, Toronto Maple Leafs, Ottawa Senators.

Southeast Division: Washington Capitals, Carolina Hurricanes,Florida Panthers, Tampa Bay Lightning, Atlanta Thrashers.

Western Conference:

Northwest Division: Calgary Flames, Vancouver Canucks, Edmonton Oilers, Minnesota Wild, Colorado Avalanche.

Central Division: St. Louis Blues, Columbus Blue Jackets, Chicago Blackhawks, Detroit Red Wings, Nashville Predators

Pacific Division: San Jose Sharks, Dallas Stars, Anaheim Ducks, LA Kings, Phoenix Coyotes.
