If you consider John Tavares latin (Portuguese Parents), there are four Hispanic NHL players. Scott Gomez born in Alaska of Mexican Father-Colombian Mother, Raffi Torres born in Canada of Peruvian parents, Al Montoya, netminder of Cuban descent, and Manny Fernandez netminder of Mexican descent.

Don't forget Bill Guerin (left wing, now playing with the New York Islanders). His mother is from Nicaragua. He is very proud of his Hispanics roots.
