There is no accurate way to estimate the current number of corrupt officers, since (for obvious reasons) corrupt officers do everything they can to keep their corruption a secret. Perhaps a better question would be, "How many NYPD officers have been found guilty of corruption?" The NYPD's Internal Affairs Bureau may have some statistics available.
