rugby league
Rugby Union is the official sport of New Zealand.
Many people believe that the game of rugby was created in 1823 when, one, William Webb Ellis 'with fine disregard for the rules of football, as played in his time at Rugby school, first took the ball in his arms and ran with it, thus originating the distinctive feature of the game of Rugby'.
Tongans are great rugby players. They have one of the highest respected tackling records in the game due to their huge hits. The game is considered their national sports
Throughout the game either one side or the other has possession of the ball. At the end of the game the referee calls "no side" to indicate that neither side has possession of the ball thereafter.
About 90 minutes. I was in one with 175 and it took about that.
Huh? That makes no sense...
Rugby officials referee the game of Rugby. There is one main referee, and two assistant referees (Touch judges). Some famous referees are Nigel Owens, Wayne Barnes and Alan Lewis
Rugby Union would not mathmatically be considered a fair game as it can be won by playing tactically. "A game in which a given player can always win by playing correctly is therefore called an unfair game".It is widely known that rugby can be played tactically, one tactic maybe to pick much larger and faster players than the other team thus creating and unfair game.
Rugby Sevens information can be found on the official Rugby Football Union website. This website provides information on the rules and the key skills required to play the game. To find out about the World Cup statistics one would go to the Official Rugby World Cup site.
I believe its around 9 months. I would go by how long it takes to release one game from another. They usually release a game 12 months after one another.
The concept started a long time ago in one form or another in every country... independently from each other. It's fun! The standard game rules as they are now were developed in England. A game was played in the streets in England, in which players were allowed to use any part of the body, including feet and hands, to take the ball from one side to the other. From this game derived Soccer, Football, and Rugby.
