At a recreational league level in an hour and a half girls can usually get in 3 full inning sometimes 4 so 6 would take from 2 to 3 hours. This is due to the anount of walks at this level of play. At a travel league level of competition 6 innings can usually be completed in about an hour and a half to 2 hours. A couple of weeks ago my daughters travel team played 9 full innings in about 2 hours. It was supposed to be an hour and a half time limit but after the time was up the game was tied at 1 after seven innings. We went on to win 4-3 after 9 innings and 2 hours.
A normal softball game in the NCAA is seven innings. In order to meet the requirements for an official NCAA softball game, the game must finish five full innings if it has been stopped due to rain. This means that both the home and away teams must be both at bat and on the field five times. Another way for the game to become official is for the home team to be ahead by eight runs after five innings have been played.
In one full game with 7 innings you have to hit at least one single, double, triple, and a home run.
9 innings in a regulation baseball game. ---------- 9 innings in a professional...Major League and Minor League...game, and in most college games. High School and PONY League games are 7 innings, and Little League (12-and-under) play 6 innings.
It all depends on the score. In most softball leagues, if there is a significant difference in the score (10 run rule) the game will be called complete in less than the standard 7 innings. Otherwise a 7 inning game takes 7 innings to complete.
There's no specific time limit for each inning in softball. Each inning lasts as long as it takes for both teams to get 3 outs. In certain leagues there can be time limits on the whole game so teams might not be able to complete the full 7 innings of a game.

In MLB, the team that is losing must have five full innings of at bats for the game to be complete. If the home team is ahead, the game can be called in the bottom of the fifth inning and it would be considered complete since the visiting team, who is losing, has had five full innings of at bats. If the home team is losing, the game can be called in the top of the sixth inning and it would be considered complete since the home team has had five full innings of at bats.
1) Multiply the total number of earned runs by the number of innings in a full game (most fastpitch leagues play 7 inning games but some youth leagues play 6 inning games). 2) Divide the total number of innings pitched into the number derived from 1) above and round to the second decimal place. Using 17 innings pitched and 4 earned runs ... For games that are 7 innings in length, the ERA would be 1.65 (4 times 7 equal 28 and 28 divided by 17 equal 1.647 which is rounded to 1.65). For games that are 6 innings in length, the ERA would be 1.41 (4 times 6 equal 24 and 24 divided by 17 equal 1.411 which is rounded to 1.41).
