Carbon fiber can be be used for so many different things. It was mostly used for racecars beause its very lightweight. Carbon fiber is now being used (in very smal amounts) on cars. Carbon fiber canot be used to make a whole car because its very expensive and if the car is broken and cannot be used again, its very hard to recycle. You can make alomost anything out of carbon fiber.

Carbon fibers are strong, waterproof and light weight.
Compared to common metals carbon fibers can be expensive but it lasts for a long time.
Carbon fibers do not corrode and sheets of it can be easily installed on the cars.

Carbon Fibre is a light and sturdy material that is strong and is light in weight. The F1 cars are designed for top speed and performance and a car made of metal like our road cars would be too heavy to generate that kind of performance. The lighter the car, the faster the car would go. Though a light car can be extremely fast, it is very unsafe and may not withstand a crash or heavy impact. A carbon Fibre body gives a light weight but a strong material to make a car that is fast as well as strong
