Throwing a Baseball overarm will usually make the ball move further than if one were to throw it sidearm. This is because the movement of the body is able to follow through with the motion more when the throw is overarm.
underarm An addition in the interests of not assuming too much knowledge--- Softball pitching is underarm, but the fielders almost always throw overarm after making a play on the ball. An exception you'll see pretty often would be a short underarm toss used by an infielder who has fielded the ball fairly close to the base.
i myself am a pitcher, and i learned by watching professional pitchers on t.v. and also having a trainer and he said that i was a natural because i pitched at speeds that kids way older than me pitch. But how to pitch the ball is very simple. First you step on the mound and get your feet in the right position, then you get your grip on the ball and decide what kind of pitch your going to throw, but you do this inside your glove so the batter can't see what pitch your throwing. Then you start in your wind up motion, and then once you go once around with your arm, you let the ball throw to the catchers glove. But make sure that you don't let go too early or too soon because the pitch will not go straight to the catchers glove. But once you practice the motion and get the simple basics done, you can then worry about your speed. But if your planning on being a pitcher, heres some advice: If you mess up, try again. If you keep on trying, you will eventually get it, and when your not having a good throwing day, just shake it off and move on.
a pitcher throws a softball under hand in a circular motion
uh...pitch the ball
no
Yes there many cties that have teams and leauges that have fast -ball in softball, for men
pitch, pitcher, pinch hitter, play ball,
The ball should never hit in the batter's box in any softball game. The coach may want to remove that pitcher if he or she continues to pitch like that.
they must pitch the ball underhand, and drag their foot after they push off of the mound
In softball pitching the pitcher is only allowed one big step because the rule states that prior to the pitch both feet should be on the pitcher's plate and during the pitch one foot should be on the plate before ball is released. you can check the basics of pitching here: http://www.softballperformance.com/softball-pitching/coaching-softball-pitching.html
4 innings.
No it is not. The only difference between softball and baseball. Is that there is a different ball for each sport.
there are many. -pitchers pitch underhand -when you pitch, you cannot do more than two windups. -you can steal -you can take leads off the base but only once the pitcher has released the ball -you cannot duck down after the pitcher release the ball; causing the "strike" to become an "overhead ball"
yes, so long she has not yet started her pitch or presented the ball.
