A paintball squeegee is a device used for clearing a broken ball out of the marker due to the bolt cutting it and throwing paint down the barrel. Basicily it is what it sounds like it is a rubber o ring at the end of a stick which is stuck down the barrel then pulled out to clear the barrel. A variation of this is the paintball swab, which is my personal favorite, it is like a long q tip. that actually soaks up the paint in the barrel.

How do you clean a paintball gun?
All I do is take out the bolt, squeegee through the barrel into where the bolt would be then I use some oil I got at Maxon paintball and put some on the bolt mainly by the o-rings. EDIT: Depending on the Gun, some use oil, and some use grease....you should read your owners manual to make sure you are not putting the wrong stuff in your marker. Typicaly the higher end guns use Grease and cannot use oil.

Follow through the steps below to clean and lubricated keeping your paintball gun in mint condition. ▪ Step 1: Consider your physical safety. Remove the air source for your paintball gun. Never tinker with a paintball gun with its air source still attached. ▪ Step 2: Lay out your paintball gun diagram. Having this diagram in front of you will save you time later when you are reassembling. ▪ Step 3: Disassemble the paintball gun. Remove the barrel, striker, bolt, grip frame and hopper and set aside. ▪ Step 4: Clean the barrel of the paintball gun. Use a warm water and paper towel to wipe down the paintball gun barrel on both the outside and inside.
