If the head fits then you just need an electric drill and put the head on. Once you have the head on, drill a screw into the shaft through the hole while applying pressure on the drill. If the head does not fit, Then put a pot of water on the stove to boil. Once it is boiling, dip the bottom of the head into the boiling water for about 8 seconds and then squeeze it onto the shaft. This worked for me with a metal shaft so you could try it with a wooden shaft. Instead of all this you could go to your local Lacrosse shop and ask them to do it but it will cost you $$$.

I also had that same problem with my lacrosse shaft and head. The only thing I found that worked was I had to force it on and bang the shaft on the floor. It will not damage your stick and should get the head on.
