The main rule is to run with the ball- As soon as it gets passed to you, hold it under your arm and run as fast as you can to the other side :)
I also like to jump when I touch-down, it helps with the impact.
Most netballers are left handed, so always pass with your left hand, because the other players will be confused if you don't.
