Without using a radar you need to know the distance you are shooting and the time it takes the puck to travel. I film myself shooting pucks 10 meters against a wall. I then playback to measure the time between the sound of the stick hitting the puck and the sound of the puck hitting the wall. This is usually about .4 seconds. If the puck has traveled 10m in .4 seconds then it would travel 90km per hour or around 56mph.
No such thing as a slap hit its either a slap shot or a hit
Flexibility is important to a hockey stick as it provides an extra flick to the puck when taking a slap shot or snap shot which further provides more speed.
Slap Shot
No, you can't.
the hardest slap shots are 103-104 mph
That's something for the myth busters
1) Wrist shot 2) Slap shot 3) Snap shot 4) Backhand
depends on the shooter. if we are talking professional players than it would most likely be a hockey shot... especially a slap shot. but that's not saying a lacrosse shot isn't hard.
