It is easy to kick a soccer ball. For a beginner you should use the inside of your dominant foot. You then take your other foot (the one you won't be kicking with) and put it next to the ball so that it points in the direction you want the ball to go. Finally you strike the ball depending on how hard and high you want it to go. It may take practice so don't get upset if your not an expert right away
practice getting your foot under the ball.
once you have done that, practice using your laces.
then, try kicking the ball and as you are doing that take your bad foot and place it beside of it.
balance on your bad foot and kick away.
put the ball on the ground.
pick a target on the ball close to the bottom
run up and kick
and just keep practicing like that
Definitely do NOT kick the ball with your toe. This could result in breaks, bruises and fractures of the toes and foot. You should always kick the ball with the inside part of your foot, (the curved part) This action should be a lot like playing hockey with a hockey puck.
There are many ways to kick a soccer ball. Where you kick it all depends on what you want to do with it, whether pass, lob, or shoot it.
To pass a ball you kick with your food pointing to a side. You hit if flat with the inside of your foot on the side of the ball.
To lob it, "swipe" hard on the underside of the ball with the front part of your foot. This creates backspin and lift and make it easy for the receiving teammate to trap.
To shoot, you hit with the top of your foot, almost with your laces. You have to make solid contact right in the middle of the ball. IF you miss the center you will pathetically miss the goal and look like a fooooool.
Here's a tip for shooting - I use this technique. I lock (tense up) the muscles in my kicking leg, I don't know why but this really helps me keep the shots low and hard.
(These are the techniques I use Different players use different techniques for different kinds of situation. For example, Beckham uses a finesse type kick for almost everything)
The Hemi and the squads in your leg use the powerto move the soccer ball to a big increase by kicking the ball by the side of your foot and your knees are always bent and you must always do a RUNNER and your arms will swing if it is a good kick.
