If you have and still can't find him, it could mean they haven't included him in the game. However players do simply just go missing. E.g. for me Johnathon Dos Santos is in the game for Barcelona, yet when i searched for him 3 seasons into my MM, he had completely disappeared!
For this player, he will probably be with Shakhtar Donetsk if he is in the game. If they class him as with FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk, as Fifa 10 often does (place on-loan players with the team they are loaned to permanently) then he is not in the game as the Ukrainian league is not in the game. In fact Shakhtar arn't in FIFA 10, so he is DEFINITELY NOT IN FIFA 10!
