the best way, especially if it's a new weight, length, material, ect. is to swing it. set up a tee outide and take some swings everyday, or ask your dad to take you to the field. keep in mind that even proffesional athletes do this, in fact Derek Jeter takes 200+ swings on a tee everyday.
you can break a slow pitching by using the bat in a regular or fast pitching softball game.
hit it with a bat
No
By simply holding a bat, you cannot break it as I am sure you know. However, by swinging a bat and making contact with a ball, you can certainly break a bat. I have seen it happen first hand with an aluminum bat during one of my games, and I have seen it many times with wooden bats in the major leagues.
A Home Run probably won't break a bat, because the action of the bat breaking will reduce the distance the ball will fly. A bunt probably won't break a bat, either. But you could break a finger or an ankle in either case. Either one could break a record.
yes
It depends if it is a Catalyst you need to break it in other bats you do not not a alloy aluminum bat but a composite bat like cf4 freak b2 dabomb and others those bats you have to
Yes you can break it in wrong. Some batters will find the same place to look at on the bat when they're getting ready to hit. Doing this causes you to hit the ball on the same side of the bat over and over. The correct way to break in the bat and for the life of the bat is to rotate the bat 1/4 turn every time you step in the box. This will help distribute the number of times the bat strikes the ball.
No, if you break the handle on a cricket bat it is not worth replacing.
No.
No. They are scared that the bat might break and hurt someone.
I would say probably a wiffleball bat only because a metal bat is heavier and could break the quicker. But a junkball bat should be fine.
