Go through college and make the NFL draft Yeah, but that is kind of general. You need to make a good name for yourself in high school, get scouted and get a scholarship to a good football college. From there, go a couple of years, and maybe you can get scouted and make the NFL draft before 4 years. If you are good enough to get a scholarship for football in high school, you should improve enough to get drafted to the NFL in 4 years.
networking is key. start working in sports in a smaller market - semi-pro teams, alternative leagues, College Sports, sports marketing firms, sports agencies (representation). show passion and have patience. adittionally, consider going to a college with heavy NFL connections (USC, Miami, LSU)or doing a post grad degree in a sports related field. getting a MBA or JD from places like Columbia, NYU, UCLA, USC, Harvard helps as well since these schools are heavily connected in sports & entertainment

Cornando's dream was to become a professional basketball player and play in the NBA.
To become a professional football player you must enter the NFL (National Football League). To join you would have to talk to the comissioner of the NFL. Then if he accepts you will be in the free agency pool and you would be waiting for a team to sign you.
