I was given 'club' tickets to an NFL game. We arrived relatively early and most of the players were seated at a table just inside the club facility. Everyone had an opportunity to have them sign Autographs or to talk to them for a brief period of time. This was probably four years ago and things may have changed since then although I have found that it never hurts to ask for things like this...it's surprising how many times someone is willing to accomodate a reasonable request that isn't too involved. You may be able to get more information from the team's PR representative. Good publicity is always welcome, and if your request involves meeting one of the lesser-known players you may have better luck. It might also help if you're affiliated with a civic or school organization or if you would like a player (or players) to autograph a ball that would later be auctioned at a charity event. My brother has pretty good luck meeting players by going to the nicest hotel that is closest to the football stadium and sitting in the lobby!
Go to a football game
Players usually arrive 3 or 4 hours in advance of the game. This gives them time to suit up, do a light workout, meet with coaches and managers, etc. One exception is when a west coast team travels east directly after a night game on the west coast. They may get to the park only shortly before the game.

The best way to meet the players for the Jets is to attend the teams training camp before the season starts. You can also look for player appearances at events like card and memorabilia shows.
