A good yet safe way to cut a tennis ball in half would be to use a hack saw, and just about any blade would be good. Those who know tools would probably laugh. Hack saws weren't really built to cut tennis balls in half. But the hack saw could be used by someone who doesn't have a lot of skill and experience at cutting things and it would still get the job done with relative safety. And safety, by the way, is of paramount importance if one wants to cut anything in half. Or one ends up making an unscheduled trip to the emergency room. (That begs another question: are there such things as *scheduled* trips to the emergency room?) Be safe. Have fun. In that order.

Well, you could try to use something like a knife or something that can cut through hard objects. I really don't know why you would want to cut a Golf ball in half, but that's all I know. If you a knife or anything else doesn't work, then get a chainsaw and cut it in half.

Take a saw and cut it in half; if the leather comes off then glue it back on.

Use a sharp knife or saw to cut the ball in half right on the seam. It is actually easier to do when it is inflated because you can actually push down on the ball while cutting.
